About career-intelligence.com
career-intelligence.com, The smart woman’s online career resource, is designed to help you better manage all phases of your career. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting out we have information, tools and advice to help you succeed in today’s competitive economy.
Back in 1999 Annette Richmond was working as a career counselor at a nonprofit organization. She turned to the then fledgling Internet to find additional resources for her clients. There was not much available.
Annette decided to change that. Combining a psychology background, knowledge of the career field and several years experience in publishing she created career-intelligence.com. As a woman, she wanted to help other women in the workplace which led to the focus on content for women.
In August 2000, career-intelligence.com was launched.
While career-intelligence.com remains a woman-focused website most of our articles are gender neutral. Getting ready for a job interview or setting goals is the same whether you’re male or female. Yes, we still cover some topics from a woman’s perspective. However, recently, we’ve started peppering our fashion articles with tips for men.
Since its launch career-intelligence.com has been cited by many as a valuable career resource including the Washington Post, The Detroit News, SELF magazine, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and The Riley Guide. Annette’s career-management advice has been quoted in many publications including ePregnancy magazine, Florida Today and The Wall Street Journal’s Career Journal.
Additionally, career-intelligence.com is linked to by numerous colleges and universities across the country including Harvard, Tufts University, and Fairfield University.
Wherever you are right now – changing careers, going back to school, finding a new job or trying to get ahead in your current position – we’re here.
We’ll help you better manage your career.
